Poetry has been a creative outlet for me since I was 10 years old. I see poetry as a way of creatively processing ideas, circumstances, and my beliefs. Many of my poems are first drafts and some are unfinished. At first, I didn't want to share them until I felt they were "perfect". But, through the years, I have come to see the art of writing as something that evolves and changes with time; it doesn't need to be perfect to be shared.
